Our hearts and thoughts go out to the people who have been affected by this unprecedented event and we appreciate the healthcare workers, emergency personnel, and governments around the world who are on the front line working to contain the coronavirus, COVID-19. The 23rd CAC is monitoring the rapidly evolving situation and has implemented precautions to protect not only our employees and Child Protective Investigative Team members, but also our direct service clients, their families, our partners and our staff.
In an effort to social distance to “flatten the curve”, the 23rd CAC is working remotely as much as possible. We are also still providing forensic interviews and therapy but we are looking for ways to do as much as we can remotely through the use of teletherapy and teleconferences. We are ensuring that we remain HIPAA compliant. Our clients’ confidentiality is incredibly important to us. Our Family Advocates will be in contact with our kids and their families and working to help meet any needs they may have during this challenging time. We hope that everyone stays safe and healthy out there. Take care. XO
